FRIDAY NIGHT: Stockholms Matvarufabriken (http://www.matvarufabriken.com/)
we had already researched this place, making reservations before even getting to stockholm. the most memorable part of this meal were the mussels (my first time trying them!), which were amazing.SATURDAY NIGHT: Haga Restaurang Delikatesser (http://www.hagadeli.com/)
this place was italian... great atmosphere and even better food. we had a pizza and a lobster pasta with lemon cream sauce. andy wasn't completely in love with the lemon cream sauce, but i was! i have never had anything like it and i want to go back right now and have more! :)SUNDAY NIGHT: Restaurang Pelikan (http://www.pelikan.se/)
this place was my favorite of the three, if i had to choose... andy and i had a long day of touring before this, went to sauna, and almost slept through going to pelikan! thank goodness we both love food more than sleep... so we made it! i had meatballs (FINALLY, delicious, yummy, amazing, perfect, everything i ever wanted, authentic swedish meatballs!!!) and andy had pork knuckle with three different types of mustard. we each had mashed potatoes (which were also delicious) and enjoyed the fun atmosphere. if you go to stockholm, you MUST eat here!plus, the menu is very chic...don't worry, the prices are in SEK, so divide everything by 11 to get euro, divide by 9 to get dollars.
