aalto excursion

i am not sure i would choose to live in alvar aalto's house as my number one choice, but it was very interesting seeing it. his use of natural lighting is something all architecture people are familiar with, but it is actually quite powerful to see it in person, instead of just in books. i love his home from the exterior (the image was taken from the back garden) and i also love the roof terrace - i think you can see it in the picture.
